However, a problem arises with this preprocessing method when dealing with images of special sizes, as it requires manual adjustments to the backend program, resulting in the generation of numerous size data for special requirements.

AWS ECS on Fargate realizes image processing and high-load applications
HigherCloud first adjusted the mechanism for generating images within the group, eliminating the pre-generation of sizes. Instead, it adopted a frontend request for resources from a CDN and utilized imgproxy, a set of image processing tools, planned and deployed on AWS ECS on Fargate. This was aimed at building high-load applications on AWS, stabilizing the image production mechanism, and planning to deploy it to user-facing products to address customer load concerns effectively. This approach could balance the overall performance and cost of the service. Initially used internally, it will be made available to end customers for blog creation once stable. With cloud services like AWS, Storm Media can focus on core service innovation and development.
