What is HigherShield?

HigherShield is a one-stop unlimited anti-DDoS solution, featuring unlimited anti-DDoS, global acceleration and end-to-end secure encrytion!

The Principle of HigherShield

As an illustration, HigherShield includes four parts: SDK, nodes, gateway, and server. If developers want to use this service, they need to write HigherShield SDK into their application. Hence, when clients download the application, the HigherShield SDK would exist in the client device. Then, HigherShield SDK generates a unique Token to move in the following process. Thus, its core technique puts DDoS attacks on the edge network out of servers.

The Structure of HigherShield

HigherShield architecture is mainly divided into four layers:
  • User layer (SDK): As long as users download the application, SDK and application are installed into client mobile as the start point of communication.
Its primary purpose is to control and distribute traffic load operations.
  • Network layer (Selb): Using network equipment only dealing with network layer issues. The server is no longer used to cope with network layer issues.
  • Access layer (Game gateway): This layer deals with user behaviors such as HTTP and other application-layer attacks.
  • Service layer (server): the server, owing to physical isolation, eliminate the risk of direct attacks.

Conclusion

Compared to the traditional concept in defending against DDoS attacks emphasizing computing capacity, HigherShield targets the client-side to mitigate DDoS attacks. It’s an innovative notion of security control solution for developers in the game industry to achieve a balance of solving problems with economic costs.
