【Hi Cloud!嗨雲誌】Senior Growth Marketing Specialist - Emily Lee

Setting Sail with a Diverse Background and Career Choices in Future Trends

In today's fiercely competitive workplace, many young people hope to find their true passion in their careers through diverse explorations. Emily Lee, a graduate of the Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Shih Chien University, is no exception. Having studied abroad for nine years before returning to Taiwan to complete her university education, she showcased her rich career background by holding positions such as clinic receptionist and administrative accounting assistant at a design company during her studies. After graduation, she was unwilling to confine herself to a single field and hoped to find what she truly loved through various work experiences.

During her job search, Emily discovered HigherCloud, although the term "cloud" was unfamiliar to her at first. However, she keenly sensed that this could be a future trend and promptly submitted her resume. During the interview with General Manager Hanson Chen, Emily felt his dedication and vision for the company, which inspired her. Although she initially hoped to find a stable job, she was willing to take a risk and apply for a position at HigherCloud, a company that had only been established for two months, hoping that her work experience could contribute to the company alongside the general manager and future colleagues. Eventually, Emily successfully joined HigherCloud, embarking on a career full of challenges and growth.

Reflecting on her early days at HigherCloud, Emily recalled it was just a small company renting shared office space, with only three colleagues squeezed into a tiny office. She was eagerly looking forward to participating in the company's journey from scratch. As a startup company, HigherCloud, under the efforts of the general manager and all subsequent colleagues, grew from three people to over 30 within three years. As one of the original members of the company, Emily witnessed the rapid growth of the company and became more determined to her initial decision to join.

Mutual Assistance, Creating Professional Challenges and Achievements Together

Currently serving as a Senior Growth Marketing Specialist in the Product and Marketing Department at HigherCloud, Emily's main responsibilities include Google advertising, Inbound & Outbound management, organizing various events, content marketing production, and managing social media. One of the most memorable experiences for her was participating in an overseas exhibition in the Philippines with her colleagues in 2023. It was their first time participating in such a large overseas exhibition, and there were many oversights in the preparations. However, this experience allowed Emily to accumulate valuable experience in her career and deeply appreciate the sense of accomplishment of working together with colleagues to complete a task. This fully demonstrated HigherCloud's corporate culture of "mutual assistance," where colleagues are willing to take action and help each other, enabling the team to effectively and accurately solve problems in the face of difficulties.

Regarding her relationship with the Product Marketing Manager, Eda Huang, Emily shared that they have a mentor-like friendship. Eda, who also joined the company in its early days, has established a good working rapport with Emily. Both of them did not major in marketing, so they face different challenges in this position and learn from each other while supporting each other. Emily mentioned that Eda is a manager who is willing to listen to the opinions of team members and always enlivens the atmosphere of the department with her lively personality. In every conversation and discussion, she can inspire everyone's creativity, resulting in many interesting creative sparks at work. Eda also frequently cares about the work progress of team members and provides appropriate work adjustment suggestions, making her a reassuring supervisor.

Starting from Scratch, Never Forgetting the Original Intention

Looking ahead, Emily hopes to contribute to HigherCloud's business growth in the marketing field, establish a wider brand awareness, and expand into the global international market. She looks forward to using her past overseas experiences and language advantages to bring more possibilities to the company. Regarding her supervisor Eda, Emily expressed gratitude, saying, "Special thanks to supervisor Eda for her inclusiveness and openness to the entire team. You are always the hardest-working and most dedicated person, and there are many qualities in you that we can learn from." At the same time, she also thanked HigherCloud and General Manager Hanson Chen for their trust and the opportunity to start from scratch, allowing her to find her own sky in her position and profession and have a unique growth experience.

Finally, Emily hopes that HigherCloud will continue to adhere to its original intention, provide opportunities for talented partners to bravely explore, and cultivate more outstanding talents, collectively moving towards a better future. This career journey has added different colors to Emily's life, and she looks forward to continuing to write more beautiful memories. To be continued.
