From Exploration to Belonging: Finding Her Place Through Challenges

Vivian graduated from the Department of Marketing at Takming University of Science and Technology. During her college years, she interned at the customer service center of Miramar Entertainment Park, where she interacted with customers every day and helped solve a wide range of inquiries. She enjoyed connecting with people and found great satisfaction in helping others.

As time went on, however, she began to ask herself:

"If every day looks the same, will I still have room to grow?"

Driven by a desire for continuous learning, Vivian joined a small company as a Purchasing Specialist after graduation. The role exposed her to procurement, administration, and cross-functional coordination, allowing her to develop problem-solving skills and independent thinking.

Yet, for Vivian, learning was never the destination—it was an ongoing journey of self-improvement. Once she became comfortable in her role, she found herself asking another question:

"What's my next challenge?"

At that time, she had no clear idea which industry she wanted to pursue. One day, while browsing job postings, she came across an opening at HiAir Cloud. What attracted her wasn't only the company's vision and employee benefits, but also the opportunity to continue learning and exploring new possibilities. With the mindset of "I'll step in first and discover my path along the way," she submitted her application.

Never imagining she would one day work in the technology industry, Vivian unexpectedly found herself embarking on a completely new journey in cloud computing.

What she once thought would be a career of constant searching eventually became a place where she truly belonged. For her, stepping beyond her academic background and embracing an unfamiliar industry wasn't simply a career change—it was a journey of discovering a better version of herself.

It Didn't Feel Like an Interview—It Felt Like a Conversation

Looking back on her interview at HiAir Cloud, Vivian still remembers how different it felt.

She had expected a formal and stressful interview, but instead, it turned into a relaxed and genuine conversation. Rather than creating pressure, the interviewer focused on understanding her personality, aspirations, and experiences, allowing her to speak openly without feeling nervous.

What surprised her the most was the Finance Manager, who completely changed her perception of what a finance leader would be like. Instead of being distant or intimidating, he was approachable, sincere, and willing to listen.

That conversation made Vivian realize that the company valued more than technical expertise—it was looking for people who were eager to learn and willing to grow.

"At that moment, I thought to myself: if I could work with a manager like this, I would learn so much."

That feeling became one of the biggest reasons she chose to join HiAir Cloud.

Embracing Change Is the Beginning of Growth

After joining the company, Vivian soon discovered that HiAir Cloud's culture was even warmer and more supportive than she had expected.

Colleagues willingly shared knowledge, supported one another, and created an environment where she could confidently learn and grow despite entering an entirely unfamiliar industry.

During her time with the company, her department went through a leadership transition. Like many teams, everyone needed time to adapt to a new management style and new ways of working.

Under the guidance of the new manager, however, the team gradually built stronger collaboration, greater trust, and improved execution.

Vivian admits that change is never easy. Every adjustment comes with challenges and a learning curve.

But looking back, she believes those moments of uncertainty became the very experiences that helped both the team and herself continue moving forward.

To her, every difficult change eventually became another step toward growth.

Because Someone Believed in Me, I Learned to Believe in Myself

When asked who had influenced her growth the most at HiAir Cloud, Vivian immediately mentioned the leaders who consistently trusted and supported her.

First was Hanson Chen, General Manager of HiAir Cloud.

As the company continued driving digital transformation, Hanson encouraged employees to embrace new technologies and working methods. When he learned that the Finance Department was working to optimize its billing process, he proactively brought together the relevant team members to explore how AI tools such as Claude could be leveraged to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and allow employees to focus on work that creates greater value.

"I really appreciate that the company encourages us to try new approaches instead of staying with the old ways," Vivian says.

She believes that this open and innovative culture has given her the confidence to continue learning and exploring new possibilities.

Another key figure in her journey is her direct manager, Henry .

Although Henry sets high expectations, he also places tremendous trust in his team. Rather than overseeing every detail, he empowers team members to take ownership of their responsibilities and simply asks for regular updates on progress and results.

That trust allowed Vivian to develop independent thinking, strengthen her problem-solving skills, and become an effective bridge between departments by communicating needs clearly and coordinating resources efficiently.

"Many opportunities came simply because my manager believed I could do them," she says.

Each new responsibility not only expanded her capabilities but also strengthened her confidence and helped her recognize her own value.

Opportunities Are Created by Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone

Reflecting on her journey, Vivian believes that what has shaped her most isn't merely the work itself, but the people who believed in her along the way.

She admits that without the trust and opportunities given by those around her, she might still be staying within her comfort zone, gradually losing passion for her work.

Today, she approaches every new challenge with curiosity instead of fear.

Although her work remains busy, she genuinely enjoys it because every breakthrough reminds her that she is in an environment where continuous learning and growth are possible.

As Vivian puts it:

"Being busy isn't something to fear. What we should fear is stopping our own growth. When you learn something new every day and see yourself improving, every effort becomes worthwhile."

Every Small Step Today Becomes Your Strength Tomorrow

Looking back on her journey, Vivian leaves one message for both herself and young professionals just beginning their careers:

"Learn to keep doing what you believe is right, even when you don't immediately see results or receive recognition. Truly meaningful work often takes time before its value becomes visible."

She believes that skills, trust, and opportunities rarely arrive overnight. They are built gradually through persistence and dedication.

Only when she looked back did she realize that those seemingly ordinary moments had quietly transformed her into the person she is today.
